It is said that one of the qualities of great advertising minds is to distill complex business problems and propositions into simple, compelling stories. The new advert for The Guardian does just that – explains the philosophy of Open Journalism – almost as a ‘demonstration’ as it were. It imagines how The Guardian might cover the story of the ‘3 little pigs’ in print and online.
Agency: BBH
What I loved about it was not just the unexpected theme of ‘3 little pigs’ to explain the philosophy – but the attention to detail, the production values and the little unsaid things that leave you to ‘fill in the blanks’ in your head. Not to mention the unexpected ending. Loved it.

While do I love the film I found the ending a bit too pat. And did not move me to do anything. Unlike the other one http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/video/2012/feb/29…
