Creativity not by ‘accident’: a car crash as a speed breaker

Who said a billboard needs to be static? Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has created a billboard that ‘literally’ forces speeding drivers to slow down. Check the video for the rest of the story.

Agency: Saatchi & Saatchi

A nice marriage of ambient and outdoor ideas. Would be great for Indian roads too – except that the driver of the vehicle may not see the ‘accident’ but the people milling around it!

  1. Fabulous i must say! great insight actually…an accident is something that everyone really stops for unless he/she is running away from home or from kidnappers or from work! 🙂 From my personal experience, my auto driver had once stopped the auto and ran to see what’s happened and i was forced to follow him cos i had to get to work! To my surprise, he actually got back with accident victim and told me: “sab…aap dusra auto lelo…mein inko hospital leke jara hein…”!

I had once seen an similar gimmick outside a popular pub on Residency Road. A totally smashed Ambassador car was kept outside entrance of the pub on New Years eve with “Don’t drink and drive” written all over it. Doesn’t quite match up to what these guys have done…we aren’t lagging behind! either!
