I never got down to downloading his lecture from You Tube, but I got a copy of his book recently. This may not join the ranks of life changing books, but it is certain to impact many lives. At least I hope so. I found it inspirational.
The film-like advertising for Ponds is on to its third installment. Not surprisingly the response to it is mixed – at least among my friends it is seen as bizarre. I for one, think it is ground breaking and deserves kudos.

JWT’s ‘Cannes to the people’ has a Flickr stream , a YouTube channel , a Twitter feed and not surprisingly, a Facebook page . The YouTube channel has a few contenders from JWT, the Flickr page has print ads, the Twitter feed has some inane tweets and the Facebook page has well, the usual Facebook stuff.
It’s been a year since Times of India launched a Kannada newspaper – no, I am not talking about Vijay Karnataka. They have now released a print campaign, attempting to appeal to the youth.
India Cements, the owners of Chennai Super Kings are mulling over an interesting idea. Their core business, cement, has three brands – Sankar Cement, Rasi and Coromandel – brands that have an equity in the South.
Came across these two pieces of creative: one for announcing Kill Bill’s telecast on TV and the other for Animal Planet.
The new TVC for IDEA does a good job of conveying the central thought – literacy for all. It has its share of melodrama but the portrayal of kids as kids, strikes a chord.
