I was lost in my Macbook (as usual, as my wife would add) when I heard the audio track on the TV and turned. I was intrigued by the new sound (ah, new ad!) and went on to quite like the metaphor of ‘sprinter & long distance runner’. It was for the launch of the K-Series engines in Maruti Suzuki cars. Yes, a ‘this and that’ benefit is so common in advertising, especially automobile advertising that it could be seen as cliched. But in this case, it was perhaps essential to highlight the dual benefit.
