Wieden+Kennedy’s new website: look ma, no stunts

Wieden+Kennedy has updated it’s agency website. Given what Modernista (siteless site), Boon Oakley (YouTube as home page) and Crispin Porter + Bogusky did with their agency websites, it is refreshing to see that the attempt here is not to outdo what others did (‘Hmm. How about a website that monitors and displays all the Twitter mentions, Facebook chats, Delicious bookmarks, blog posts and the  corresponding increase in sales of our client’s brands in real time – all displayed in a nice infographic? Naa.)

The site features their latest work across offices (a rarity these days as most agency websites feature slightly dated work or their ‘best of’ work), including some interesting ones from W+K, Delhi. The Delhi work displayed ranges from packaging for Indigo to an Incredible India campaign in Los Angeles.

Compared to the earlier website of W+K, which was all flash, dark and cluttered, this one looks cleaner and easier on the eye.
