Jet Airways is on a marketing overdrive. Given the entry of Kingfisher in the international arena, Jet is pushing its visibility through features led advertising.
The TVC, featuring SRK is just out. The print advertising clearly positioned the airline as offering exclusive services. The TVC attempts to take it forward with a firang accented voice over. But somehow the use of SRK was jarring. They got him to promote the First Class, the Premier Class and the Economy.
The clowning around of SRK takes away the attempt to be propah and all. The kind of audience who would travel First Class on international routes – will they find SRK and his clowning around speaking their language, touching a chord?
