There hasn’t been a global campaign from Intel of late that created as much buzz as the ‘Intel Inside’ campaign. The Intel logo, with the “e” slightly lowered, ran for 37 years and was changed to one having an oval swirl around the company’s name and the phrase “Leap Ahead”. They have now launched an integrated branding campaign using the theme, ‘Sponsors of Tomorrow’. At the heart of the campaign are Intel’s engineers, showcased as…
My 3.5-year old daughter loves them. They leave her speechless for a good 30-seconds – a near impossible task in itself. They are the toast of the blogosphere and media with everyone going ga-ga over them. Deservingly so. The official fan club of ZooZoos at Facebook has over 140,000 fans. It’s videos are the most subscribed this month at YouTube. They even got them live on the IPL cricket telecast. There must be at least…
There’s hope for all Mac lovers in India. The low awareness, even lower preference for Apple in India, maybe a thing of the past. But one will have to wait a generation for that to happen, it seems. Apple re-sellers in India, like the Reliance owned iStore are conducting summer classes for the young, initiating them on the Mac and what it can do. The iStore in Bangalore’s M G Road foe example, conducts Young…
I can’t think of any other category where one can’t try out the product before buying it. You can do that with cars, clothes, perfumes…except undergarments (understandably) of course. But with mobile handsets in India, all you can do to ‘experience’ the product before buying it is hold a dummy handset in your hands. Visit any retailer (is Croma an excpetion?) hunting for a mobile phone, and you will see rows upon rows of dummy…
Full disclosure: both the client and the creative team behind this project are friends of mine. Pia, the client and Anisha, the creative deserve kudos for this simple yet effective visiting card. These won two pencils at the One Show – a gold pencil in the ‘Corporate identity – ‘Single’ category, and a silver pencil for the ‘Promotion’ category. Meticulously planned and executed stuff. Visiting cards for divorce lawyers, chiropractors and such are common entries…
I saw these at Ads of the World. Conveys the thought of Chlormint camouflaging bad odour very well. Opinion is divided over these ads at the comments section of AoW – some whinng about ‘camouflaging’ vs. ‘eliminating’ bad smell. But hey, you still had that fish – this hides the evidence. But another question remains: where were these released?
These ads meant for Levis Original Store in Delhi did the rounds of ad blogs recently. This is clever, sexy and all that but do they sell Levis Low Rise Jeans or the underwear brands? Via Campaign Brief Asia
Quite liked this simple visual idea to announce the availability of France 24 News Channel on the iPhone. The copy simply says, ‘The first news channel available live on the iPhone’. The fingerprint smudges are a cool way of conveying the iPhone screen. Via Luerzer’s Archive
During the early years of my advertising career, I used to love delving into the Annual Award Show books – The One Show, D&AD Annual etc. The work from the award show regulars then – Fallcon McElligot, The Martin Agency and Leagas Delaney are still fresh in my memory. One among them is the classic campaign for Timberland, created by Leagas Delaney, which went to win many awards and was also featured in The Copy…
