The Newspaper Advertising Bureau of New Zealand has been promoting newspaper advertising in many ways. One of them is to institute an Ad of the Month:
An outstanding newspaper ad is selected by a leading creative panel and the winning creative team receive $250 cash. The ad then gets entered into The Newspaper Ad of the Year where the winner will receive $10,000 cash!
DDB have won The Newspaper Ad of the Year 2008-09 for Cadbury Hall’s Throaties.
I liked the comprehensive approach to promote the newspaper medium through case studies, creative awards and more. Is there anything similar or consistent in India?
