‘Why didn’t I think of that?’ is a likely reaction to seeing Kevin Bacon promoting eggs on behalf of the American Egg Board. Just the association by name brings a smile and the copywriting takes it to another level of entertainment.

The copywriting was wonderful (‘you sound like a commercial’. ‘Actually it’s a web film’) and reminded me of the copywriting for the amusing series of films for DirectTV done by the same agency.
Oldies in India will also recollect the campaign for NECC (National Egg Coordination Committee) by Enterprise back in the early 90s. Always nice to see clever, witty copywriting in advertising.
