App Store generates affliction, copy cats



The LA Times writes of a new affliction: Appiphilia. Its the obsessive use of the iTunes App Store – both the free and paid Apps. Check out the comments on the above article to figure out how this view resonates among so many of the iPhone users.

The App Store has been dubbed the Biggest Invention of Apple for 2008. Not all of the Apps are life-changing, but the sheer ease of use and the variety makes it addictive. But don’t worry, there is a cure for this affliction.

And now, Microsoft is also planning its own version of an App Store. What was that about imitation and flattery?
