Big Babol: something to crow about


Big Babol’s new TV commercial highlighting it’s effectiveness is likely to be popular. ‘Big’ bubble is a common platform in this category with exaggeration being the norm. It is possible to imbue it with intelligent humour or even endearing ‘oh-so-cute’ humour. This one relies on toilet humour of the bird kind and in that sense is a bit juvenile. Going one up on adults is a oft-seen elements in ads targeted at kids, you could say this is going one up on birds.

The animation is quite good with the crow doing the ‘yesss!’ bit quite well. The big bubble part comes through clearly with the kid using the bubble to get back at the offending crow. Works for you?
