An Amnesty International campaign is asking Chileans to demand all nine presidential candidates commit to defending a wide range of human rights — from ensuring freedom of expression at public demonstrations to ending the impunity of dictatorship-era human rights abusers. A print campaign drives Chileans to sign a digital petition so that the presidential candidates commit to uphold human rights in Chile if put in office. While I am not sure how it would ensure that those elected will actually deliver on their promise, the print ads are remarkable for the story they tell in static media.

The ads literally force you to fill in the blanks in your head and complete the story. Nicely done.
