This is a brilliant example of the new kinds of demands made on the creative teams today. They are expected to come up with ideas beyond the :30 TV commercial and find new media to convey an advertising message. In China, DDB created used a pedestrian crossing as an advertising medium for the China Environment Protection Foundation. The objective: get people to walk more and drive less.
The campaign won in the Out of Home category at the 2011 Andy Awards.
